The Psalms of the Hebrew Bible have been a wonderful source of inspiration and guidance since their creation. Largely composed by King David, they were songs written to express many topics ranging from God's goodness to the emotional conflicts of the human soul.

"The Psalmist" will be an ongoing project with the goal to musically and lyrically capture the beauty and simplicity of these psalms, ultimately making them available for free use in every household around the world.

As often as possible, each Psalm will be posted here until all 150 are collected. They are free of charge. If you feel like contributing toward the project, just enter the amount you'd like to pay when you click to download the individual tracks or the current collection (To download individual tracks, hover over the track title with your cursor and click "download"). Otherwise, just leave it blank and enjoy.

Track Name: Psalm 1
He is blessed who doesn't give ear to the wicked, go down the sinner's path or sit with the mockers.
The Lord's law is his joy; he ponders it from the rising to the setting of the sun.
As a tree planted by a river, he bears fruit at the right times and his leaves don't wilt and die.
He finds success in everything he does.

The wicked, on the other hand, are but chaff, blown away by the wind.
It's their own demise when judgment comes.
They turn their backs on God, only to lose their place amongst the righteous.

The Lord has His eye on the righteous and their ways.
But the wicked's ways will not find eternity.
